Husband of Helen Zundel of Willard. They were sealed as eternal mates in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Wayne served in the Ogden Temple for nine years in addition to serving as Bishop in Utah as well as Alaska, Stake Missionary and too numerous callings to list.
A leader in community service, President of military associations, fraternal organizations and Director of The Community Concert Association.
While promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, he served world wide and received commendations which take a full paragraph to list including: the Army Commendation Ribbon with three oak leaf clusters. Upon retirement, he was First Sargeant of CCC Camp Subaltern, adult education teacher, and a Contract Negotiator for Hill Field Air Force Base.
