She was born May 8, 1961, in Evergreen Park, IL, to Thomas R. and Darlene A. (Perry) Pierro.
Denise was a 1978 graduate of Elizabeth Seton High School, South Holland, IL. She worked as a hair dresser out of her home. Denise enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
Surviving are her parents, Thomas (Darlene) Pierro of La Porte; two daughters, Ashley Balsam of Hammond, IN, Kaylee Suknovich of Dyer, IN; one son, Zach Suknovich of Dyer, IN; two brothers, Michael and Douglas Pierro both of La Porte; one sister, Michelle (Jeff) Barcomb of Golden, CO; and special friend, Chris Chronowski of La Porte.
Preceding in death were her paternal and maternal grandparents.
