MRS. NANCY L. JONES' FUNERAL SERVICES ARE THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy L. Jones, 84, who died Wednesday at 11 a.m. at her home between Rockett and Trumbull, were held at the First Baptist Church in Ferris with the Rev. Edgar Parker officiating. Burial was in the New Ferris Cemetery. Grandsons served as active and honorary pallbearers. Music was by the Quartette of the First Baptist Church of Ferris.
The former Miss Nancy V. Varner was born July 31, 1857 and reared in Lafayette County, Miss. and was married in 1874 to J. J. Jones, who preceded her in death in 1922. They came to Texas in 1890, settling in Ellis County, near Ferris, where they have since resided. Mrs. Jones joined the First Baptist Church in 1870.
Survivors are six sons, J. M., Winford and Dewey, all of Ferris; Loyd, Blanco, Tex., and J. D., Epps, La., and one daughter, Mrs. Yuma Jones, Ferris.
