Norfolk – William James Bonney, 67, husband of Mrs. Minnie Whitehurst Bonney and son of John H. and Nannie J. Bonney, died at his residence, 120 Amerilla Avenue Friday at 11:32 a.m.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, William K. Bonney of Norfolk and Alva F. Bonney, of Ocala, Fla., a sister, Mrs. Mary Chappell of Princess Anne County and five grandchildren, Joseph W. Bonney, Miss Sandra Bonney, Miss Judith Bonney, all of Norfolk, Hartsell Bonney and Mrs. Trudy Bonney of Newport News.
He was a native of Princess Anne County and had been a resident of Norfolk most of his life.
