Charles "Charlie" David Mitchell age 65 of Russellville formerly of Danville passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle.
He was born December 12, 1945 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Boss Carroll and Katharyn I. Waters Mitchell. He was former owner of Mitchell's Drug Store in Danville and retired as pharmacy manager at River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle.
Preceded in death by his mother Katharyn Mitchell and wife Dorothy Mitchell;
Survivors include his father Boss Mitchell of Danville; children & spouses, Matthew & Amy Mitchell of Russellville; Amanda & Charles "Chuck" Craig of Dardanelle; grandchildren Caleb Mitchell of Russellville; Bailey, Dalton, & Daniel Craig of Dardanelle; brother & sister-in-law Carlos & Margaret Mitchell of Dardanelle and three nieces.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 at Danville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jackie Townsall officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
Pallbearers include James Mitchell, Jim Mitchell, Bob Corbin, Harold Gene Hall, Johnny Henderson and Ron Poole.
