Michael C. Williams, 46, of 11 Indian Lane, died at 5:16 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2001, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

He was born November 11, 1954, in Tiffin, to Charles R. and D. JoAnne (Henninger) Williams, Jr. who survived in Tiffin. On February 21, 1987, he married Beth Martin in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and she also survived.

Other survivors included two step-children, Chip and (Crystal) Hossler of Cincinnati, and Eric N. and (Kim) Hossler of Killeen, Texas; two step-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald L. Williams of Fostoria; and a sister, Mrs. Alonzo (Shirley) Shultz, Jr. also of Fostoria.

He was a 1973 graduate of Bettsville High School; a tow motor operator for American Standard for 16 years; and an avid pool player. He was a member of the American Pool Player Association and the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2001, at Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home, with the Rev. Scott Hayward officiating. Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2001, at Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.
