SAN ANGELO - Patsy Casebeer, 71, our beloved wife, mother, and "Memaw", stepped into glory to be with her Heavenly Savior following a tragic car accident Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008. A celebration of Patsy's life with family and friends will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Harris Avenue Baptist Church. Graveside service will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
Patsy Casebeer was born Nov. 19, 1937, to Vernon and Trilvia (Tucker) Vines.
She married Paul Fauley on June 16th, 1958. Paul passed away Sept. 18,1987. While living in Conroe for 11 years, she was an active member of Mims Baptist Church and taught children in the daycare.
She married Allen Casebeer on Aug. 10, 1990. Patsy devoted her life to our Lord and filled a room with her gentle loving spirit. She was an active member of Harvest Baptist Church. Many favorite areas of Patsy's life were being called "Memaw" by her grandchildren and attending their activities, traveling with Allen to visit friends and family, playing games, and sharing memories from over the years at family reunions. The wonderful times we have all shared together with Patsy, fill each of our hearts and minds as a treasure forever. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Paul Fauley; parents Vernon and Trilvia Vines; sister Belinda Vines; great-granddaughter Kasey Peevy; and sisters-in-law Merlene Vines and Christine Vines. She is survived by her husband, Allen Casebeer; sons Douglas and wife Angela Fauley, Jeffrey and wife DeeDee Fauley, and Jody and wife Corina Fauley; and daughters Belinda and husband Robert Peevy, Sherrie and husband David Lewis, Becky and husband Steve Whitaker, Beverly and husband Ben Baughman. She was blessed with 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, Bobby Peevy, Carissa Rice and husband Travis, Christopher Peevy, Sarah Lewis, Benjamin Lewis, Jerusha Lewis, Nathaniel Lewis, Rebecca Lewis, Stephen Whitaker, Brandon Whitaker and wife Misty, Shannon Baughman and fiance Frank Johnson, Aaron Baughman, Jessika Fauley, Megan Fauley, Michael Fauley, Brandon Fauley, Brianna Fauley, Brittany Fauley, Brooke Fauley, and Elliana Fauley. Great Grandchildren are Robert Peevy Jr., Miguel Peevy, Sadye Peevy, Mikayla Rice, Logan Cheney, Kolton Whitaker, Hunter Whitaker, and Kaitlyn Whitaker. Her other survivors include brothers Wayne Vines and wife Lana, and Lonnie Vines, sister Cam Martin, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and cherished friends.
