Winford Lamar "Bill" Sellers, 71, deceased on January 2, 2011 peacefully at home with his family by his side.
Mr. Sellers was born December 28, 1939 to the late Samuel Lawson and Magnolia "Maggie" Graham Sellers. He loved serving God and was a faithful member of his Baptist Church for 34 years.
A special thank-you to all of his caregivers and nurses with Agape Hospice Care.
Surviving are his wife, Eunice Vardell Collins Sellers of Aynor; two daughters, Loretta Sellers Shortt and husband, Lee, of Rocky Point, N.C., Wendy Lee Sellers and ex-husband, Raymond Prevatte, of Aynor; one sister, Hazel McCracken of N. Charleston; one brother, Jeffrey Sellers of Conway; five grandchildren, Brandi Shortt Milam and husband, Johnny, of Burgaw, N.C., Stephanie Shortt of Wilmington, N.C., Amanda Prevatte, Candace Prevatte and Brianna Sellers, all of Aynor; and two great-grandchildren, Gracie Milam and Henry Milam, both of Burgaw, N.C.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Cemetery with the Rev. Raymond Sellers officiating. Pallbears will be Darrin and Mike Cook, Richard Sellers, Floyd Brock, Cody Hatcher, and Christopher Collins.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
