Mrs. Karen Hatley Kendall, age 65, of 32489 Austin Road, New London, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 1st, 2011 at Britthaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Home.
Her 11:00 AM graveside funeral will be on Monday, January 3rd, 2011 in Kendall's Baptist Church's Cemetery and her family will receive friends directly following the service in the church's fellowship building. Rev. Dan Abernathy will officiate.
Born December 8th, 1945, in Stanly County, NC, Mrs. Kendall was the daughter of the late Mabel Gibson Hatley and J.D. Hatley.
She was a graduate of Albemarle High School and Pfeiffer University. She was a Secretarial Worker for various doctor's offices and former employee of C&A. She also was a former pianist at Prospect Baptist Church and Kendall's Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, William Terrol Kendall; one daughter, Angela Jill Kendall of New London, NC; and one granddaughter, Andie Brock.
