Lone Coffey

Lone Dallas Coffey, 83, of 52 Abington Road, Lenoir, died Sunday, June 15, 1997, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.

he was born July 1, 1913, in Caldwell County to the late Partee Coffey and Pearl Tolbert Coffey. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Archie and Lee Coffey; and one brother, Junior Coffey.

Mr. Coffey was a retired furniture worker and a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pansy Braswell Coffey of the home; one son, Paul Coffey of Granite Falls; two brothers, Hardy Coffey of Valdese and Milt Coffey of Lenoir; three sisters, Carrie Cook and Vergie Carpenter, both of Lenoir and Gertie Killian of Mortimer; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Stuart White and Floyd Vines officiating. Burial will be in Blue ridge Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
