Bordelon, 70, of Belledeau died Wednesday, July 21, 1999, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.
He was a resident of Belldeau and a member of Refuge Baptist Church where he was a member of Baptist Brotherhood and served as a deacon. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and retired from Bunny Bread as a route salesman with 28 years service.
Survivors include his wife, Lelia Mae Bordelon of Belledeau; one daughter, Martha M. Nevins of Belledeau; one brother, Alton Joe Bordelon of Marksville; four sisters, Hazel Michot, Anna Lee Meche and Mildred Bonnette, all of Marksville, and Adine Heatherwick of Effie; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. until shortly before time of services today in the funeral home.
