Oleta Frances Eiland, of Clanton died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. She was born in Thorsby, daughter of the late Luther Pink Watley and the late Rita Foshee Watley. She was a millworker.

Surviving are her daughter, Ms. Avoline Eiland of Marietta, GA; granddaughter, Mrs. Christina Gramatas Martin of Acworth, GA and Ms. Alexandra Marie Martin of Acworth, GA; sister, Mrs. Helen Coggins of Prattville; several nephews and one niece; and special nephews, Mr. Randall Erskin Coggins of Thorsby.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Turner Watley; brother, Ira Watley; brother, Raymond Watley; brother, Billy Watley and brother, Carl Watley.

Services were Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Hilyer officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel No 1 Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home directing.
