Mrs. Lillie Belle Howerton, 89, 325 3rd Ave. W., died Saturday morning at Magic Valley Memorial Hospital of a short illness.
Mrs. Howerton was born March 26, 1877, near Novelty, and was married to Zora Howerton in Novelty on February 1, 1899. He died Aug. 8, 1960. Mrs. Howerton moved to Twin Falls in 1961.
Survivors include one son, Raymond Howerton, Bowling Green, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. H. K. (Cleo) Kleinkopf, Burley; Mrs. Thomas (Letha) Rowland, Twin Falls, and Mrs. A. V. (Zelma) Holmes, LaPlata, Mo.; three brothers, Willard Fite, Twin Falls; Arthur Fite, Novelty, Mo., and Homer Fite, Longmont, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. I. H. (Ella) Phares, Denver, and 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted in Novelty, Mo. Friends may call at the Twin Falls Mortuary until 9 p.m. Sunday.
