Mrs. Sanders, born in Dodge County, had lived most of her life in Pulaski County. She was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Annie Carter Davis. She was preceded in death by her son Dewey Kerrell Bass and her grandsons Sam Stinson and Joseph Mayo. She was a retired lunch room manager after 30 years of service with Pulaski County Schools and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Survivors are her children, Debra (Dennis) Stinson of Cochran, Patricia Sanders (Bill) Mayo and Marvin (Mel) Sanders, Jr. of Hawkinsville, and Karen Sanders of Valdosta; brother, George Thomas Davis of Tampa, FL; daughter-in-law, Mary S. Bass of Hawkinsville; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
