Doris Lavinia Ferguson, 90, a native of Cullman and a resident of Fairhope, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 in Robertsdale. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Aaron Ferguson, longtime resident of Fairhope and former editor of the Fairhope Courier. Survivors include a son, Ron Ferguson of Fairhope; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at Montrose Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
