Was killed by a train. He had failed to get off at his stop, so was walking back to catch the train going to Audubon. He was very hard of hearing and didn't know the train had circled back. He was on his way to visit his son Adelbert Wever. Seven children was still living at the time of his death in 1903. Besides Adelbert, Audubon, Ia., Bert(Albert)and William H., both of Scranton, Iowa, G.H.(George), Shelby Co. Ia., Mrs. Carrie Prosser, Los Angels, Calif., Mrs. Minnie (Nina) Barstow, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Charles(Lue)Currier, Stark Co. Ill. Moses moved to Illinois in 1853, To Shelby Co. Iowa in 1886, and to Audubon Co. Iowa in 1888. He was a blacksmith & farmer.
