HOUSTON - Melissa Wright Pulliam, 48, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born April 1, 1962, in Houston to James Sanford Wright and Johnnie Ruth Lewis Wright.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Houston. Burial will be at Boone's Chapel Cemetery near Okolona. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, James Earl Pulliam of Houston; three daughters, Kimberly Roye of Pontotoc, Ashley Gray of Tupelo and Angel Clements of Ecru; one son, James Clements of Pontotoc; her mother, Johnnie Ruth Lewis Wright of Okolona; three sisters, Patricia Wright Pugh (Auther) of Saltillo, Cindy Wright Russell (Chris) of Algoma and Michelle Wright of Ecru; one grandson, Thomas Reed Roye of Pontotoc; and 10 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Sanford Wright.
Pallbearers will be Chris Russell, Auther Pugh, Bradley Oliver, Cole Pate, Mikey Bailey and Cody Kimbrough.
Honorary pallbearers will be Zach Shenault, Johnnie Oliver and Will Shenault.
Visitation will be from noon to service time Wednesday at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Houston.
