Debra Lynn Pope, age 57, of Hurst, TX passed into Jesus's arms on Thursday, December 23, 2010 with her family by her side. She was born on August 19, 1953 in Grenada, MS to Loyd and Joy Dunn, they preceded her in death. Debbie drove a school bus for Irving ISD from 1981 until 1992 and during that time was also a florist and ultimately opening her own flower shop Alotta Blossoms. Her real love was for her family and her sweet grand

Survivors include, daughter, Melissa James and husband Phil; longtime companion, Paul Evans; sister, Diana Kendrick and husband Danny; Melissa's dad, Royce Pope; granddaughters, Macie and Maddie James. Debbie will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 27th from 6-8 pm at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 28th at Grace Pointe Church in Irving with Pastor Wooten officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
