Sulmana Elizabeth "Libby" Hunt Woody Hildebrand Furman, 94 years old, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at The Southerlands in Front Royal, Virginia where she had been a resident for the past 1-1/2 years. She had moved back to Front Royal in 2006.
She is survived by her daughter, Harriett Woody Liskey and spouse, Russell of Hedgesville, WV; her son, Harry Schwab Woody, Jr. (also known as Gino Victor Juliano) and his wife, Caroline of Woodstock, VA; and her son, Thomas L. Woody who resides in Front Royal. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Deborah Elizabeth Orcino and her husband, Battista Orcino of Burtonsville, MD; grandson, Steven W. Liskey and his wife, Monni of Odenton, MD; and grandson, Justin Thomas Woody, also in Front Royal. She leaves two great-grandchildren, Christina M. Orcino and Dominic "Nick" Orcino, both of Burtonsville, MD; along with a grandson, Anthony Juliano in California; a granddaughter, Lorie Juliano in Wyoming. She also leaves three dear nieces in the Richmond, VA area. They are Doris Worley Bailey and her husband, Dan; Esther "Cookie" Steinmetz and her husband, John; and "Kitty" Mills and her husband, Charles; and nephew "Buddy" Worley and his wife who reside in Alaska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Orren Hunt and Cora N. Hunt, and her four siblings, Claude Hunt, Wm. Hunt, Den Hunt and Pearl Hunt Worley.
Lib was a very caring person and was always willing to help anyone in need, especially children. She loved working in a garden, planting roses, or whatever else she liked and her tomato plants she grew (or tried to grow each year). She was a true Christian and supported her church, First Baptist in Front Royal.
