James Lowell Fry, a native of Villa Grove, IL, age 36 died January 29, 1971 in Arkadelphia, AR. He was employed as the manager at the County Road Barn, Clark County Road Department. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and a member of the Country Boys Band. Jim was a gifted fiddler with a beautiful singing voice.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Lovely Fry, stepson Daniel D. McConnell of the home, stepdaughter Carla Ann McConnell, of the home, his parents, Lowell and Lyra Fry of Villa Grove, IL.

Jim made medical history as the first survivor of double mechanical heart valve surgery at the University Medical Center, Little Rock, AR.
