Maben - Robert William McGraw, 84, of Maben died Thursday in a Beard hospital.

Born June 10, 1880, he was the son of the late William and Nancy Wingo McGraw.

His wife, Mrs. Rebecca Farmer McGraw, died in 1955.

Survivors include three sons, Bernard of Maben, Berkley of Oceana and Gene McGraw of Poquason, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Hinton of Middlesex, N.C.; a brother, Henry McGraw of Spokane, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Pickle of Pineville and Mrs. Genevieve Bailey of Tigard, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Russell Baptist Church at Glen Fork with the Rev. Lowell Cook in charge. Burial will be in the Pinegrove Cemetery at Ravencliff.

The body will be taken to the home of a son, Bernard of Maben, at 4 p.m. today from Evans Funeral Home in Oceana and will be taken to the church one hour prior to the funeral.
