Edward Soares Medeiros Sr., 77, of Kailua, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard rigger and diver and EM Service owner, died in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu.
He is survived by wife Pauline C.Y.; sons William P., John E., Steve G. and Bryan J.; daughter Charmaine M. Siliezar; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mass: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church, 148 Makawao St., Kailua. Call after 9:30 a.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
