Mrs. Diane Louise Hunter, age 63, of Jackson, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010. She was born on Dec. 20, 1946 in Brighton, Mass., to Manuel and Louise Pepe Cabral.
She was a member of St. Mary Mother of God Catholic Church in Jackson. She was retired from Delta Air Lines and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. One of her great joys was spending the holidays with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and pencil sketching.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Hunter, of Jackson; son, Ronnie Mitcham of Hollywood, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Lori Mitcham, of Ola; mother, Louise Cabral of Hollywood, Fla.; and granddaughter, Mason Mitcham.
She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel P. Cabral, and brother, Manny Cabral.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 18, at St. Mary Mother of God Catholic Church with Father Mark Fischer officiating. The rosary and visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m., until service time on Thursday. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m., at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.
