Pats main occupation was as a house painter; but he also delivered propane, drove a school bus, and worked as a maintenance man. He was a strong Christian, serving as a missionary and dreaming of a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. He was a long time member of Methodist Men, as well as attending Montrose Christian Church. He loved studying God's word and attended several Bible study groups at various churches. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his many friends, frequenting the Senior Center where he played billiards, Texas Hold'em, and horseshoes. Pat was a witty man who liked to tell stories. If you named a subject, he had a tale or two for you. He was a very generous person, giving of his time, talents and held a special place in his heart for anyone in need. He had been a volunteer for RSVP and also delivered food for the Sharing Ministries Food Bank. Pat is survived by his daughter, Linda Ellen (& Robert) DeBenedetto of Columbia, SC; his sister Paula Tarson of Elyria, Ohio, his brother Kenneth Allen Kinder of Elyria, OH; and two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
