"My mother's maiden name was Ann Munnerlyn. She died in 1841 at 47 years of age. She was buried at the old Forbes' Purchase Place." quoted form a dictation by her son William Charles Sweet to his grandson Eugene M. Mitchell before William's death.

A female of Anne's age is not represented in the 1840 census with Gospero Sweet, suggesting she died before the census. Eugene Mitchell also made a family chart where he makes a correction to the above statement. It reads "ANNE MUNNERLYN married GOSPERO SWEET. Born at Britton's Neck, S. C., in 1784, Died about six miles from Quincy, Fla. in 1831." Many people use the first referenced quote, which has been found to be in error.

At the time of her birth Marion County was either Georgetown District or Liberty County, name change in 1785. It is possible she was born in 1783 or 1785 because her sister Mary was born in April 1784.
