AGED 92, SUCCUMBS
George W. Wagner, 92, died Thursday afternoon at a Sheridan hospital. He served as janitor of Linden school for approximately 40 years before his health failed.
He was born April 4, 1853 in Pennsylvania, and in Sheridan made his home at 333 South Jefferson street. He came with his family to Wyoming in 1883, settling at Parkman where he operated a ranch. Later he disposed of his ranch and went to Basin, where he lived for a few years before returning to Sheridan. His survivors are five sons, Harry A., Arthur, James, Clarence, Oscar of Sheridan, and one daughter, Bessie Wagner.
Funeral services are slated to be held in Champion's drawing room Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. A Christian Science service will be read and burial will be in the Sheridan municipal cemetery.
