Mr. Dale attended Beaumont High School and Lamar University in Beaumont and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. J.C. retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company with thirty-seven years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Hughes Dale; daughter, Susan Dale; son, John Dale and his wife Melissa; three wonderful granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Woodrow Dale, William Dale, and George Dale; and three sisters, Inez Morton, Imogene Jessen, and Melba Akin.
Mr. Dale was a member of North End Baptist Church. He has gone to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; he is looking forward to the day when his family can all be reunited in the wonderful place called Heaven.
His funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with, a lifelong friend, Brother James Beaty officiating and assisted by Ronnie Tucker.
