Widow of Ferdinand Leuenberger, passed away at her home Friday morning. Age 84 years. Louise Davis was born Nov. 24, 1869, in Saginaw County, and had lived in this county all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Davis, pioneer residents of Kochville. He predeceased her Aug. 22 1951. The deceased was a member of the Kochville Methodist Church, and was a charter member of the Liberty PTA; she was very active in both organizations. In 1951 Mr. and Mrs. Leuenberger celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Surviving are four daughters and one son. Mrs. Thomas Davis, Rudyard; Mrs. J. J. Fitzgerald, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Robert Kretchman, Midland Road, Saginaw; Mrs. Thomas McGuire, Pierce Road, Saginaw; and Arthur Leuenberger, with whom she made her home; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren: also one brother and two sisters, James Davis, San Mateo, Calif.; Mrs. Wallace Foster and Mrs. Charles Marsh, both of Seattle, Wash. Funeral service will take place at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Case Chapel. Rev. John Roach will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 3 p.m. Saturday."
