Mrs. Constantine G. Captain

Lorain - Mrs. Evangeline K. Captain, 66, of 607 West 21st St., died at 5 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital following an illness of one year.

Born in Samos, Greece, Mrs. Captain had lived in Lorain 48 years. She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and its Philopthos Society.

Survivors include her husband, Constantine G., to whom she had been married 46 years; two sons, George, Sheffield Lake and James, Lorain; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Bastock, Lorain; and Mrs. Jack (Lulu) Duffield, North Olmsted; nine grandchildren, two brothers, George Andronikos, Cledveland and Hippocrates Andronikos, Samos, Greece and a sister, Angela Andronikos, also of Samos.

Friends may call at the Reidy-Scanlan Funeral Home from 7 to 10 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow.

Funeral services will be fheld at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home at 2 p.m. in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church with the Rev. John Papadopoulos officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Trisagion services will be held at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home.

The fmaily suggests memorial contributions be made to the Evangeline Captain Memorial Fund.
