Mrs Hetrick,a member of Faith Lutheran church,and a life member of the Naomi Circle,was born in Ottawa County Jan 27,1888,to the late Adam and Sophia(Hasselbach)Gahn.She and Abner I Hetrick were married April 17,1907,in the former St Paul's Lutheran church.He died May 29,1965.Also preceding herwere a daughter,one brother,and two sisters.
Surviving are sons; Milton,Vincent,and Carroll,all rural Oak Harbor,and daughters Mildred Lamalie,Thelma Nickel,and Mrs Dorothy Nickel.Also surviving were 19 grandchildren,and great-grandchildren.
Karlovetz-Dorfmeyer Funeral Home conducted the funeral.The service was officiated by the Revs Leo Heintz and Calvin Risch.Burial was in Faith Cemetery.
