SPANISH FORK--Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Third Ward LDS Chapel for Ernest Andrus, 39, formerly of Mammoth, Juab County, who died Sunday in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering illness.

He was born January 4, 1900, a son of Oscar and Lucy E. Andrus, formerly of Mammoth. Before moving to Tucson, Arizona, where he had resided for a number of years, he lived one year in California.

Besides his widow, Mrs. LaVern Andrus, he is survived by one son, Bobbie Andrus of Spanish Fork; his mother, who lives in California; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Chatwin of Santaquin; Mrs. Merle A. Gregerson, of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lester Carter of Avanol, California and Mrs. June Balch of Los Angeles, California.

The body was brought to the home of his wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Webb of Spanish Fork. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Springville.
