Funeral services for George H. Frey, 56, of 115 Mohawk Avenue, Scotia, retired manager and vice president of Amsterdam Dairy and Colonial Ice Cream Co., will be at 7:30 tomorrow in Baxter's Funeral Parlors. Mr. Frey died Monday in Ellis Hospital, where he had been a patient since Nov. 22. He retired last January after 29 years service with the local firm. A native of Scottdale, PA, he had resided in Scotia since 1920. He was a veteran of World War I. Mr. Frey was president of the Association of Ice Cream Manufacturers of New York in 1938, vice president of the New York State Milk Distributors Inc. in 1940, and president in 1944. A former member of Schenectady Dairy Council, he was an honorary member at the time of his death. He was also a member of First Methodist Church, Beukendall Lodge, F&AM, and St. George's chapter, RAM. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sophia Price Frey; two daughters, Mrs. Robert D. Morris and Mrs. Albert F. LaMonte, of Scotia; and three sisters, Mrs. C. L. Keedy Sr., and Miss Ruth Frey, of Scotia and Miss Jane Frey, of Philadelphia.
