Jeanette Bosworth Simmonds Lambert, 77, of 103 Merrill St., Syracuse, died Monday at Fort Hudson Nursing Home, Fort Edward. She was born in Rochester. She attended the New York School of Interior Design and took courses at Syracuse-area colleges. She worked at the Rome Army Airfield from 1942 to 1947, and for the Syracuse Public Library. She was a member of the Syracuse Community Writers' Group and a Girl Scout leader, and was affiliated with the Syracuse Botanical Society, Onondaga Nature Center and Wagon Wheel. Her husband, Alfred E., died in 1989. Survivors: Three daughters, Majken Sellar of Argyle, Kathleen Lambert of Denver and Pamela Trainor of Falls Church, Va.; a son, Alfred J. of Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Carter Funeral Home. Burial, Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse . Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Contributions: Memorial Tree Fund, in care of Friends of Historic Onondaga Lake, Onondaga County Parks and Museum Office, Box 146, Liverpool 13088.
