Mr. Lambert was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving in England, Africa and Italy with the 308th Fighter Squadron. He was a member of Mattydale Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are his wife, the former Jeanette Simmonds; three daughters, Majken Sellar of Argyle, Kathleen Lambert of Denver, Colo., and Pamela Trainor of Washington, D.C.; a son, Alfred J. of Syracuse ; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Carter Funeral Home, the Rev. William Sammons officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 1604 Grant Blvd.
