Died: At his temporary home in the east part of town last Friday morning, R. L. Barrett died of pneumonia. He was 55 years of age and left a wife and ten children to mourn his loss. He was from Honey Grove and had recently moved here. His wife and several children were with him at the time of his death and two of his sons, H.S. Barrett from Honey Grove and T.P. Barrett from Ben Franklin came in Friday evening. His remains were interred in the Caddo Cemetery.
