JONESBORO -- Mrs. Weaver A. Eldridge, 85, of Paducah, Ky., died Sunday in a Paducah nursing home. She was originally of Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Tyra officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Dodson.

Mrs. Eldridge is survived by one daughter, Julia Myhand of Paducah, Ky., two sons, Samuel E. Godfrey of Kirbyville, Texas, James G. Godfrey of Sumter, S.C., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
