Carrie Thomas Jump, 84, of Dry Ridge, Ky., died December 26, 1981 at Grant County Hospital. She was born August 1, 1896 in Grant County and was the daughter of the late Emulous Ellsworth and Sarah Elizabeth Ashcraft. On April 18, 1914 she was united in marriage with Roscoe Pendleton Jump, which union was blessed with five children. A daughter, Barbara June, preceded her in death in June 1937. Surviving are two sons, Bernard and Evrin; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Collins and Marjorie Jump, all of Dry Ridge, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In 1914, the year of her marriage, she became a member of Vine Run Baptist Church. Interment in Vine Run Cemetery.
