She was born Oct. 1, 1912, in Colorado County, Texas, to Harry Ray and Carrie (McGee) Hayman. She married Noah L. Spitler June 27, 1931. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Peg Spitler, Joyce Holmer and Alice Shrode, of Tiffin and Maxine Philbrook of Cardington; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; five sisters; and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sons, Bill, Ray and Tom Spitler.
There is no visitation. Mrs. Spitler donated her body to Cleveland Clinic for the advancement of medical science.
The memorial service is 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donna VanTrees officiating.
