Marvin P. Archer, age 64 of Putnam Hall, died Dec. 18, 2009 at Shands at UF.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Mary Archer; 4 daughters, Marlene (Rev. Everett) Brown, Sheila Archer, Marilyn (Rev. Michael) Baker, Linda Wright; 3 sons, Marvin (Karen) Thomas, Robert Thomas, Robin (Lanell) Thomas; a sister, Josephine Brown; a brother, Johnny Archer, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Abilene Missionary Baptist Church, Putnam Hall, Fl., with the Pastor Rev. James Pullings, presiding and Rev. Michael Baker, Sr., Eulogist. Burial will be in Abilene Cemetery. Viewing hours today at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home, 21400 Hawthorne Road, Hawthorne, Fl., 4-8 p.m. No viewing on Friday. Viewing on Saturday at the church 1-2 p.m.. No viewing after the eulogy. The family will meet at the church 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
