Medford Hutson GREENSBORO — Medford Hutson of Greensboro died on Monday, Sept. 30, 2002 at Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was 86. Born May 1, 1916, in Goldsboro, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rosa Hutson. He was a lifetime resident of Greensboro. Mr. Hutson was employed with Pet Milk Co. in Greensboro for 25 years. “Trader Tim” was his C.B. radio handle for approximately 35 years. He enjoyed repairing lawn mowers. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ruth Hutson; six children, Shirley Moore of Woodside, Del., Patsy Shockley of Clayton, Del., John Hutson of Cambridge, Medford D. Hutson of Denton, Joe Hutson and Wayne Hutson, both of Greensboro; one brother, Joseph Hutson of Goldsboro; one sister, Mary Edwards of Denton; 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. One son and a sister, Anna Bright, are deceased. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home. Burial was at Greensboro Cemetery.
