Leonia Essie Wood Abel born in Effie Louisiana Met her to be husband Charles Elmer Abel Sr. together they had Nine Children Essie Marion Abel Bradford, Marcia Rose Abel Mayo, Ann Elizabeth Abel, Clare Olga Abel, Veronica Cecilia Abel Bush, and the most precious of all Cynthia Agnes Abel Delvin, Three sons Charles Elmer Abel Jr. William Issac Abel, and Joseph Patrick Abel, Mom raised all of us on her own with no help from nobody except for the help from within the home, when mom had to work the responsibility of cooking for the rest of the clan fell on Marcia and she took up the reigns and produced some of the best food you could find. We didn't have much but we always had food and clothing, and so much love, I learned so much from Marcia growing up. Mom made sure we got a good education and made certain we all went to church when we were supposed to. I Can remember her sitting and crying wondering where she was going to get the money to buy food but she always managed and every saturday when she went to Kroger she always made certain she brought back an angel food cake and a half gallon of neopolitan ice cream especially for me God how I miss those days and how I miss my Mom. I love you Mom
