MRS. INEZ DAVENPORT FORRESTER
Mrs. Inez Davenport Forrester, age 92, of the Union County Nursing Home, formerly of Fannin County died Sunday morning, June 27, 2004, at the nursing home.

Mrs. Forrester was the daughter of the late William Prescott and Elizabeth Lorraine Van Zandt Davenport born Tuesday, July 4, 1911. She was a member of the Dial Church of Christ. She loved gardening and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Forrester.Survivors include son, Huey Forrester of the Dial Community of Fannin County; daughters, Jenny Lynn Thomas of Symrna, Georgia, and Melany Lunsford of Blairsville, Georgia; brother, Dr. Dennis D. Davenport of Longview, Washington; sister, Dell Beaver of Ellijay, Georgia; grandchildren, Tony Thomas, Valerie Latta, Kim Anderson, and Brandon Sparks. Six great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 29, 2004, from the Dial Church of Christ with Minister Terry Stuart and Minister Butch Jones officiating. Serving as pallbearers were David Thomas, Tony Thomas, Jeff Latta, Brandon Sparks, Vernon Gibbs, James Burrell and Gary Beaver. Mrs. Forrester was laid to rest in the Van Zandt Cemetery.
