Stanley I. Anderson, 82, of Uehling died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln.
He was born Sept. 26, 1928, at home in Uehling.
Stanley graduated from high school at Uehling in 1945 and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1950 with a degree in architecture.
He served in the U.S. Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant for two years at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico. After the service, he worked as a draftsman for Davis and Wilson and for the State of Nebraska.
He married Abbie Jean Jones of Atkinson in 1965. They lived in Lincoln and were married 45 years. She died June 7, 2010.
Survivors include: brothers, Dale and wife, Sharon (Gottsch) Anderson of Uehling; Einar and wife, Kay (Krohn) Anderson of Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Norma (Anderson) Moseman of Fremont; nieces and nephews, Laurie (Moseman) Howard of Lincoln, Gary Moseman of Fremont, Dan Moseman of Mesa, Ariz., Michael Anderson of Fremont, Kathlene Anderson of Uehling, David Anderson of Omaha and Kim (Anderson) Coe of Parker, Colo. and all of their families.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Middle Cross Church, 5900 S. 58th St. (58th and Old Cheney Road, in the Trade Center behind Skeeter Barnes), Lincoln.
Visitation was at Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home, 4040 A. St., Lincoln 68510 on Dec. 27, 2010.
Burial will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Atkinson.
