Tracy J. Sowle son of Isaac & Anmarretta Hoyt was born two and a half miles north of Angola at the Sowle Settlement. He spent his early childhood on Thunder Bay Island in Lake Huron & Harrisville, MI. On 07 Jun 1874 he married Estella Goodale in Metz, Steuben, IN. Their union produced five children with three sons dying in infancy. The two surviving children were Paul Dewitt [1887 - ] & Lusella who married George Eggleston. Tracy passed away at the home of his son in Hillsdale, MI.
At the time of his death he left, along with his two children, two grandchildren Rilla & Robert Sowle and a sister Geneva Foote
