Marvin Stokes Jr., 48, of 4151/2 B S. Cool Springs St., Fayetteville, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, in Cape Valley Medical Center.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Wiseman Mortuary chapel by the Rev. Ronnie Owens. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.

Mr. Stokes is survived by his caretaker, Helen Tucker of Fayetteville.
