Ruby Guettner Robinette age 87 passed away at Parkwest Hospital Monday March 5th. She was a life long resident of Roane County. She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church since October 23, 1932 where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Secretary, Baptist Training Union Director and President of WMU. Preceded in death by parents Sam and Annie Guettner, sisters Flora Cook, Catherine Barnard Smith, Mary Rogers and Mildred Guettner, brothers Claude Guettner, George Guettner and John Guettner. Survived by husband of 56 years Hoyt Robinette; Daughters and sons in law Karen and Jerry Hurst of Knoxville, TN; Marcia and George Stone of Bristol, TN; Son and daughter in law Dennis and Denise Robinette of Newnan, GA; Grandchildren Michael and Katye Stone of Bristol, TN; Cory Robinette of Newnan, GA; Sister Gussie Elliott of Salisbury, MD; Sister in law Grace Guettner of Snow Hill, MD; Special Caregiver Yvonne Jeffers; A host of loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral 8pm Wednesday March 7, 2007 in the Kyker Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Nickell and Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Burial 11am Thursday in Lawnville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Union Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8pm Wednesday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
