Mr. Nealy died Saturday, Dec. 25, in a Big Spring hospital.
He was born on April 27, 1929, to James Nealy and Carrie Vergie Nealy Jackson. He served in the U.S. Army until 1947. On Oct. 27, 1949, he married Maurine Hoyle.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin Nealy and Craig Nealy, both of Odessa; five daughters, Shirley Arnold, Patricia Nealy, Pamela Fray, Sandra Jones and Lula May Reed, all of Odessa; two brothers, Carl Nealy of Fort Worth and Chester Nealy of Heidenheimer; a sister, Florine Ervin of Rosebud; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors in Odessa is in charge of arrangements and Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple is in charge locally.
