Gerald Harris, age 86, of Boaz, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at his home.
His funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Boaz Carr Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Jarrod Shields and Rev. Jason Kirkland will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Allen Collins, James Cornett, Joby Satterfield, Travis Jarell, Macon Shields and Wayne Hunt.
Visitation will be from 1:30 until 3 before the service.
He is survived by his son, Marty Smallwood, granddaughter, Elizabeth Satterfield (Joby), great-grandson, Kiah Whitton, sisters, Carolyn Griffin and Frances Shields (Melvin), brothers, Roger Harris (Margaret) and Jackie Harris (Hazel) and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sue Harris, son, Anthony Harris,and parents, R. M. and CoraLee Harris.
