He was the son of Earl T. Bertram and Verna Branham Bertram Burnette. He is preceded in death by his father, Earl T. Bertram; step father, William (Bill) Burnett; and daughter, Nadine Bertram.
He was married to Dorothy Yvonne Coffey. To this union was born a daughter, Maria Bertram Robinson of Paducah and a son, Clyde E. Bertram Jr., of Irvine, Kentucky.
Other survivors to mention, Danny Lee Hunter (son); Verna Burnette (mother); William Dorsey Burnette (brother); Theresa Burnette (sister); Bruce Bertram (uncle); three grandsons; also surviving are four nieces and one nephew.
He served over eight years in the United States Air Force. He was an employee of the Kentucky State Highway Department for a number of years.
He was always known to be kind, generous and possesses a pleasant personality. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone.
He was a member of St. Johns A.M.E. Church. He contributed to the best of his ability to his faith, mother and children.
In life we loved him, he always said, "I love you." May he rest in peace. He will be missed.
