Daniel A. Richmond, age 65, of Elkton, MD passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He was born on May 26, 1945 to the late George W. and Mildred (Mitchem) Richmond in Covington, VA.
He is survived by his daughters, Tara Dawson of North East, MD, Crystal Truitt and husband, Ian of Elkton, MD, and Danielle Cline and husband, William of Ocala, FL; sons, Brian Richmond of San Antonio, TX and Jonathan Amos of Elkton, MD; brother, Albert Mitchem of Covington, VA; sisters, Gayleen Criddle of Clifton Forge, VA, Coleen Sexton of Covington, VA, Caroll Minnix of Middletown, DE and Maxi McWilliams of Butler, PA; and 8 grand children.
He was preceded in death by Daniel Richmond II, George Franklin Richmond, Paul David Richmond and April Lynn Richmond.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2010 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A. (formerly Gee Funeral Home), 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will follow at Union Church Cemetery in Elkton, MD.
